Teltonika setup

Configure an FMB or FMC unit with the Teltonika Configurator or by SMS.

Teltonika units are configured with the free Teltonika Configurator over USB, or by SMS with a login and password (empty by default on many units).

Configurator

  1. Connect the unit by USB and open the Configurator.
  2. GPRS: set the APN for your SIM.
  3. GPRS > Server settings: domain gps.lemurseye.com, port 5027, protocol TCP.
  4. Data acquisition: for a fleet, 10 seconds or 100 metres while moving, 300 seconds when stopped, is a good default.
  5. I/O: enable Ignition and Movement; the platform reads both.
  6. Save to device.

SMS alternative

  setparam 2001:internet.vodafone.net
  setparam 2004:gps.lemurseye.com;2005:5027;2006:0

(the two leading spaces stand for the empty login and password; use yours if set.)

Then in the console

Register the tracker with its IMEI and protocol Teltonika, assign it to the vehicle. Teltonika units also report an odometer and, on CAN-enabled models, fuel level; those attributes arrive with every position and are the input for the fuel-sensor module.
